Privacy Policy and Legal Obligation

This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information.
Any personal information received will only be used to fill your order. We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone.

NST Computer Systems is committed to respecting your privacy and recognizing your need for appropriate protection and management of personal information you share with us (the phrase "personal information" means any information by which you can be identified, such as your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, etc.). The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you what personal information we may collect from you, how we use such information, and the choices you have regarding our use of, and your ability to review and correct, the information.

Collecting Information

NST Computer Systems employees will not access any personal identifying or financial information within the customer's computer which is outside the scope of the repair without the customer's prior knowledge and consent.

Pirated Software

It is NST Computer Systems's legal responsibility to report any pirated software witnessed during the repair to the appropriate authorities.

Unauthorized Access

NST Computer Systems will only preform a repair on a computer that is legally owned by the customer. Only those computers presented to the NST Computer Systems by the authorities with the appropriate legal order will be examined without the customer's expressed consent. NST Computer Systems reserves the right to reject any computer repair whose ownership is suspect. If NST Computer Systems suspects a computer brought in for repair is stolen property, it is NST Computer Systems's legal responsibility to report this suspicion to the appropriate authorities.

Information Storage

NST Computer Systems  employees will never copy any personal information, software or files which are outside the scope of the repair without the customer's prior knowledge and consent. All backups of personal information, software or files that are made in the duration of the repair are destroyed before the customer's computer is returned to the customer, unless otherwise directed by the customer. In the event that the customer directs NST Computer Systems to back up certain information, only those folders to which the CQ technician is specifically directed will be backed up. NST Computer Systems will never, under any circumstance, search customer file folders to find a specific file or file type. To protect both the customer's privacy and NST Computer Systems's legal responsibility, NST Computer Systems  relies upon the customer to direct the technician to the exact folder the customer wishes to be backed up.

Policy Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy in whole or in part, we will inform you by posting a notice on our web site (www.nstnet.org) Those changes will go into effect on the date posted in the notice. The new policy will apply to all current and past users of our web site and will replace any prior policies that are inconsistent. This policy was updated in June 2013.

Cancellation Policy

NST Computer Systems believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:
Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made within 7 days of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.
There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category.

No cancellations are entertained for those products that the NST Computer Systems marketing team has obtained on special occasions like Pongal, Diwali, Valentine’s Day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.

In case of receipt of damaged or defective consumer durable items and non durable items like hard drive, power supply, monitor, please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 21 days of receipt of the products. For books, VCDs, DVDs, software products, the matter should be reported within 5 days.
In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.
In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them.

Refund Policy

When you buy our products/services, your purchase is covered by our 14-days money-back guarantee. If you are, for any reason, not entirely happy with your purchase, we will cheerfully issue a full refund. We develop and sell products/services that we use ourselves every day and have thousands of satisfied customers islandwide, and our support is second to none. That is why we can afford to back our products with this special guarantee. To request a refund, simply contact us with your purchase details within fourteen (14) days of your purchase. Please include your order/invoice number (sent to you via email after ordering) and optionally tell us why you’re requesting a refund – we take customer feedback very seriously and use it to constantly improve our products and quality of service. Refunds are not being provided for services delivered in full such as installation service and provided knowledge base hosting service. Refunds are being processed within 21 days period.
